About Pooja Ladwa

Counselling Graduate | MS Psychology | MA Counselling Psychology

Hello I'm glad you're here!
My name is Pooja, and I’m a counselor dedicated to walking alongside individuals as they navigate life’s challenges and rediscover their inner strength. I believe healing unfolds when we feel truly seen, heard, and understood. Together we can create a safe, compassionate, and non-judgemental space where your story matters and your voice guides the process.

My approach is client-centered, attachment based, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive, grounded in empathy and curiosity. I draw from both academic training and hands-on experience in mental health and behavioural support. I view therapy as a collaborative journey of growth – one where light gradually returns, and resilience begins to bloom.

I support individuals experiencing a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and loss, addictions, relationship issues, chronic pain or illness, life transitions, and other mental health diagnosis.

My therapeutic framework is integrative, weaving together evidence-based and creative modalities such as:

  • Art Therapy
  • Internal Family Systems
  • Trauma-Informed
  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
  • Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT)
  • Narrative Therapy
  • Solution-Focused
  • Mindfulness-Based and Strength-Based Approaches

As someone who speaks Gujrati, Kiswahili, and Hindi, I am passionate about providing accessible, culturally attuned support for multicultural communities.

If you are feeling ready – or even just curious – about what therapy might look like for you, I invite you to connect for a free 15-minute consultation. It would be an honour to accompany you on your journey towards healing, growth, and renewal.

"Like the Aurora, healing is a gentle light that rises within”
